Full description
Start this tour from the main gate (also known as 'the Sea Gate'), where you will find yourself at the Square of Arms, the main town square. From there, enjoy a view of the four centuries old town clock tower. In front of the clock tower, there is a medieval pillory where verdicts used to be read and prisoners used to be brought.  Then proceed to the Bizanti family palace, which dates back to the 14th-century, and along the way, you will pass Beskuća Palace with its Gothic portal. Then proceed to Flour Square where you will see Pima and Buća Palaces. Cathedral of Saint Tryphon is the biggest attraction, with its construction being set between 1124 and 1166. The other notable religious sights are the Church of St. Luke (built in 1195 on the model of similar churches in medieval Serbia) and St. Nicholas Church (built on the site where there used to be the Dominican monastery of St. Nicholas built in 1540).

My wife, 11mth old baby, and I had a very informative and enjoyable walking tour of Kotor with Mili in July 2019. Mili has a good knowledge about the history of the town and country, along with providing useful tips for restaurants and other places to visit. The tour was a well timed and varied 1hr tour. Happy to recommend.

Everything was fine.

Although I was the only person this morning and it rained very heavily, the guide took a lot of time and told a lot about the history, the people and many other information of Montenegro and Kotor. He gave me some recommendations for restaurants in Kotor and also for my further journey.

We originally booked a walking tour of the old town of Kotor. Our guide, Sofija, was very pleasant and professional, and gave us a proper walkthrough of the history of Kotor. When she heard we were in port for a few more hours, she arranged for another tour guide from the same company to show us around Perast and Budva at a very reasonable price. Alex drove us around for the next three hours, showed us around gorgeous Perast and Budva, and was very informative about the history and geography of Montenegro. We were dropped back at our ship well in time for departure. Thank you, Sofija and Alex for making our day so wonderful!
