Full description
Izola is a small Slovenian fishing town with an artistic soul. It used to be, like other coastal towns, an island which gradually merged with the land. The town has been home to shipyards, a large toy factory, and a large fish cannery. Hear about Izola's rich history and numerous interesting stories that have accumulated over time. Take a stroll along the promenade, where you'll see the small port and fishing pier, Manzioli square, ornate Manzioli palace, as well as Besenghi's palace.
