Several days after the Postojna Cave we also visited the Skocjan Caves. The two caves are so different that they are definitely worth visiting. Postojna is tailored entirely to tourism, the stalactites are bizarre and spectacularly beautiful. Skocjan, on the other hand, is the elemental force of nature, not pimped up, but completely original. Unfortunately it is not allowed to take pictures there; on the other hand, it is also an option to look at things with your eyes and not with the camera. The visit to the Lipica Stud had the small drawback that there were no horse demonstrations that day. Anyone who attaches particular importance to this should find out about the days on which such demonstrations are offered before booking the tour with the organizer or the stud. The visit was worth it anyway, because there was a detailed German-speaking tour and you had the opportunity to come into direct contact with the horses in the stables.
