You will visit the old town center where you'll admire the works of the Slovene architect Jože Plečnik, who took an important part in designing Ljubljana’s most famous bridges, town squares and parks. In little more than 3 decades, Jože Plečnik transformed Ljubljana from a provincial city to the capital of the Slovene nation, and re-shaped the urban part of the city. His influence can be felt everywhere, but mostly along the river Ljubljanica. On this trip, you will visit some of the most interesting buildings and monuments, such as the Ljubljana Town Hall, the Triple Bridge, the Shoemakers’ Bridge, Ljubljana Cathedral, the Robba Fountain, Prešeren Square, Congress Square and other attractions. The symbol of the city is the Ljubljana Dragon, depicted on the top of the tower of Ljubljana Castle and on the Ljubljanica – crossing Dragon Bridge. It symbolizes power, courage and greatness. Bled is an Alpine town which represents one of the oldest and most beautiful tourist destinations in Slovenia. Its main attraction is the lake which surrounds Bled Island. Wonderful experience.

We enjoyed our tour immensely. Our guide Malina told us things about the area and country. It would be nice if there were some way to enhance the loudness when she spoke, as she was soft spoken and hard to hear above the car noises. Postojna was really beautiful. Our guide stayed outside as we went in for both this and the castle. That was not a problem as we had an English-speaking guide from the cave staff who gave us information as we toured the cave. And the castle had English audio devices. The cave is huge and stock full of gorgeous formations. The train ride was fun. We really enjoyed it. Predjama castle was super cool. We really enjoyed touring it and listening to the pre-recorded handheld audio tour given us at the castle. Fascinating history. All in all, well worth the money.

A very nice tour in the hinterland of the Slovenian Adriatic coast! Due to the corona, we were the only two participants on the tour, so the excursion had something almost familiar, especially since our guide Grega spoke almost perfect German and gave us a lot of information about the country and its people. During the wine and food tasting in a small winery, we experienced real Slovenian hospitality. An all-round successful tour that we would do again at any time.

Great tour not to be missed

This was a great pick when we where cruising in Slovenia. It was so easy to locate the staff when we got off the ship and our tour guide was very friendly and informative as we drove to our destinations. One tip - make sure you take some warm clothes for the Caves as it is very cold. We had to hire a coat/cape at €4 each (so we all looked like something out of the Hobbit!!) but it did the job. Would defiantly recommend booking before you go if you are cruising.

Leon was fantastic, he was informative and fun. He obviously loves his country and was enthusiastic to share that with us. The castle and caves are a must see and if you're lucky enough to have Leon as your guide you are sure to enjoy your day.

I unbelievable. A must see for anyone in the area.
