  • Berlin Combo Package: City Tour & Spree Boat Tour

    1. Berlin Combo Package: City Tour & Spree Boat Tour

Discover the most interesting sights in Berlin on this practical hop-on hop-off bus tour coupled with a boat tour along the Spree. Simply hop on the bus at the first stop, sit back, explore the city and get closer to the highlights of Berlin. You can get on and off the bus as often as you wish and spend as much time as you like at each attraction. Stroll along the Kurfürstendamm, learn more about the historical background of Checkpoint Charlie, admire the Brandenburg Gate and enjoy Gendarmenmarkt. Buses on the Best of Berlin by City Circle (yellow) stop at the following bus stops: • Kurfürstendamm • KaDeWe • Lützowplatz • Cultural Forum • Potsdamer Platz • Checkpoint Charlie • Gendarmenmarkt • Alexanderplatz (TV Tower) • Fountain of Neptune • Museum Island • Berlin Cathedral • Lustgarten (Museum Island) • Unter den Linden • Brandenburg Gate (Reichstag building) • Berlin Central Station...

The bust tour was fine but you need more that 2 days if you want to spend a reasonable time at the sites because the bus only runs between 1000 and 1800. The music on the bus commentary translators is dire and needs to be changed. The Reichstag tour is a must and was the highlight of the visit to Berlin. We also enjoyed the Brandenburg Gate, Cathedral and Checkpoint Charlie. The city is huge and you need the public transport. We used trams and underground and all were easy to use. Plenty of places to eat and a large variety of international foods. We stayed at Hotel Abba Berlin which was reasonably central and was clean and comfortable. There is more to see in Berlin than is apparent from travel brochures.

Very interesting and far from clichés

Tobias is an excellent guide who will make you discover this area far from touristic guide. We had the privilege to be only two with him so it was kind of a private tour we really enjoyed! We had a nice long walk including many stops in front of (or in) different buildings and sites. Tobias has answered all of our questions on the subject but also on so many things about Berlin, inhabitants, urbanism, politics etc. You won't see the time flying even in winter! Highly recommended.

In Mr. Schwabe we had a very competent, enthusiastic tour guide. Although I know my way around the district well, we have learned a lot of new things, especially with a historical background. We were made aware of a lot of things that I hadn't seen on my own. So the cold windy weather didn't bother us.

One of the Best Guides Ever

Tobias, has a background in museums and history and it shows. Prenzlauer Berg is a must and do it with Tobias. We like the area so much that we stayed for eight nights..
