Ko Lanta: Emerald Pool and Hot Springs Day Trip

1. Ko Lanta: Emerald Pool and Hot Springs Day Trip

Begin your day with pickup at around 8 AM from your resort, then head first to the Emerald Pool, a unique attraction on the main island of Krabi situated in the middle of a lush lowland forest rich in bio-diversity. The source of the groundwater flows through the limestone layer and settles, therefore making it look emerald green. Upon arrival, walk along the natural jungle path and admire the peaceful environment before jumping into the Emerald Pool. Have fun playing in the water, then replenish your energy with a set lunch featuring a range of Thai dishes at a local restaurant at midday. After lunch, visit the Hot Spring waterfall and spend time relaxing in the mineral-rich water. Therapeutic and soothing, the hot springs are natural ‘hot tubs’ crafted into smooth rock channeling water from deep-rooted thermal springs located in volcanic chambers. Enjoy the comfortably warm water temperature, which ranges from 40-50 degrees Celsius (104-122 degrees Fahrenheit). The mineral salts in the water are claimed to cure a range of illnesses such as rheumatism and sciatica. These jungle baths also feed into a cool stream which is perfect to cool off in after. At 3 PM, transfer back to your hotel on Ko Lanta Yai.

Ko Lanta Yai: Half-Day Ethical Elephant Sanctuary Tour

4. Ko Lanta Yai: Half-Day Ethical Elephant Sanctuary Tour

Brush off the mud and exfoliate their skin to give them a relaxing pampering. Next, learn how to prepare food and herbal medicine for elephants. The herbal medicine is a mixture of multiple nutrient sources needed by elephants to stay healthy. They are like a supplement to their diet. Enjoy relaxing and feeding the elephants their herbal medicine. This is a perfect photo opportunity. Learn how to make eco-paper from elephant dung and take back the paper as a souvenir to show your friends and family.

A very nice excursion and nice snorkelling. We were at Similan Islands, which is known for fine snorkeling, a couple of days earlier but actually thinks snorkeling was better on Koh Rok. There was plenty of time for snorkelling, lunch and relaxation. Very good staff who did everything in order for us and the children to have a good experience. The lunch was also great! Highly recommended if you like to snorkel.

Nice tour to get an overview of Koh Lanta. Beaches, national park, Lanta Old Town ... everything included. Cool, funny guide who could tell a lot about the island and Thailand.

Well organised tour with two lots of snorkeling and swim to emerald cave; explore koh ngai after lunch; guides are there for your every need

Great experience in times of covid almost no one on the scene, we were able to fully enjoy it. Super friendly guide.

There were only 3 of us, so the guide was very interesting just for us and we had a great day
