    Get out of Khao Lak and into the jungles of Khao Sok National Park on a day tour. Encounter elephants, paddle along a jungle river, and take in the natural beauty of your surroundings.

    After getting picked up at your hotel in Khao Lak, travel to the park to start your canoeing adventure. Paddle along a calm river with your guide, passing limestone cliffs, ancient trees, and exotic plants.

    Pay attention to your surroundings and you might spot some of the local wildlife. Look for snakes sleeping in the trees and groups of monkeys playing close to the water. Afterward, dig into a Thai buffet lunch in a wonderful atmosphere at a treehouse resort. Enjoy the atmosphere as you dine on some local cuisine.

    Next, visit the elephant camp for an up-close encounter with these giants. You'll have the opportunity to play with elephants, feed them, and bathe them. Get dropped off back at your hotel in Khao Lak at the end of your experience.

    It was a very nice trip. On the way to the Khao Sok National Park, you stopped at a market and could buy fresh fruit, etc. After that we went canoeing. You drove in two canoes (you + partner and a guide), which was very pleasant. There we saw many monkeys, snakes and fish. The setting was stunning. Half way we took a little break and drank a coffee\tea out of bamboo cups. Next was lunch, which was delicious and lots of it. Arriving at the elephant camp, we walked with the elephants to a shallow section of the river. There you could wash them with a brush and feed them. The elephants are doing well there. The guide Olli is very nice, knows a lot and speaks fluent German. The trip is really recommended.

    Very nice excursion, so you really get to know the country. We were in a group of five which was much more pleasant than the mass events. The elephants were of course the highlight, but we also saw the market and the monkey temple as well as a waterfall and a viewpoint. Oil as our guide was really very nice all day and could even help us with mosquito bites. We got so many photos and information about Thailand

    My husband & i booked this experience while staying in Khao Lak & we are so glad we did, we got to meet our amazing tour guide Arisaya. She is passionate about her country & can see why, its amazing. She took us to a local market, showing us different things we wouldnt normally.next we went to the elephants, so amazing. we got to Bathe, feed & see where they lived. id recommend taking a waterproof camera or waterproof phone case to take pictures, itll be worth it. we was provided with ponchos due to the rain that we could use for the duration of the experience. we got to see a beautiful waterfall & having a great lunch in a treehouse (which is a place you can stay at aswell) we did a canoe trip, it was a tad wet but the rain didnt ruin our canoe trip again waterproof phone case that goes around your neck is really ideal. we was provided with water or soft drink during the trip. Arisaya informed us all the way through the day on what we would be doing.This is a must if your visiting.
