After pickup from your Kampala accommodation, enjoy a hearty breakfast to set you up for the adventure. Then, travel for 5-6 hours towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping at the Kazinga Channel for a rest stop along the way.  Arrive at the park in the afternoon and head off on a scenic boat cruise. Look out for the array of wildlife, including buffalo, hippopotamus, elephants, and more. From the boat, admire the rolling grasslands, then pass by the plains of Kasenyi, where lions stalk their prey. After the cruise, enjoy dinner and a good night’s sleep at your Bush lodge or Engiri Game Lodge. Wake up on day two with a tasty breakfast, then embark on a morning game drive through Kasenyi. On the drive, encounter an array of big and small game. Later, check out of the lodge and enjoy an optional walk through the park in search of primates i.e Chimpanzees, (Please note there is a permit fee which can be arranged with your Driver currently $70) before beginning the return journey.  On your way back to Kampala, stop for lunch at the Mpambire Drum Center, where you can see drums being made by the locals and shop for souvenirs.

DAY 1: WELCOME IN KIGALI - TOUR BRIEFING AND TRANSFER TO MGAHINGA NAT PARK Welcome to Kigali, Rwanda. Our tour representative and your driver/guide will meet you in the morning at, Kigali International Airport. Then we stop in Kigali for a cup f coffee before start our journey to Uganda, Mgahinga Nat Park via Rwanda/Uganda border of cyanika. We’ll arrive early afternoon and check in to our lodge close to the Park. Overnight at Travellers Resort DAY 2: MOUNTAIN GORILLAS TREK – AFTERNOON TRANSFER BACK TO RWANDA, MUSANZE. At about 6:30am, we take a drive of about 30mins to the National Park headquarters at to meet your guides for the day. After completing our park formalities, we are embark on a once in a life time experience of tracking mountain gorillas. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend an hour watching your closest long lost cousin. This is perhaps one of the most breath-taking experiences on earth!!! You get so close to these awesome giant primates. You stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience. You will spend one hour with the gorillas, but it is an hour you will never forget. Depending on the length of our trek, groups will return to our lodge by about 1pm. In the afternoon, we transfer back to Rwanda, check in to our hotel in Musanze, close to the Volcanoes Nat Park Overnight at Garden Place Hotel DAY 3: GOLDEN MONKEY TRACKING + IBY’IWACU VILLAGE VISIT + TRAVEL TO KIGALI This day is set out for Golden Monkey tracking in the Volcanoes National Park. Entering dense stands of bamboo interspersed with open glades; you will make your way deep into golden monkey territory. Guides lead visitors to the habitat of groups of ‘habituated’ golden monkeys – monkeys that have become accustomed to human presence. Though viewing is kept to a maximum of one hour, travelers can get an up-close look at the golden monkey in its natural habitat. Adult monkeys frolic in plain view, feeding on bamboo leaves and leaping from perch to perch. Females carry their young, completely comfortable among onlookers. Later visit Iby’iwacu Cultural Village a Non-Profit umbrella organization that aims at improving the lives of reformed poachers and communities around Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park through provision of conservation incentives, supporting community enterprise development and livelihood based projects. Return to your hotel to freshen up and have lunch then later Transfer to Kigali arriving early afternoon. Afterwards we bid our host goodbye and transfer to Kigali airport for your departure flight back home. End of the Adventure

Day 1: Leave Entebbe and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Depart in the morning after breakfast and drive south-westwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is best known for its Mountain Gorillas, primate presence and spectacular bird population. En route, you will have a short stop at the Equator for an educational talk as well as a photographic opportunity. The journey then continues to Mbarara where there will be a stopover stop for lunch. After lunch, drive on wards; a drive that will take you through Uganda’s rolling green hills through the highlands, also known as the ‘Switzerland of Uganda’ before making the final journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the mountain gorilla. Check in at your accommodation for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: B L D Lodge: Bakiga Lodge Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest National Park Following the morning breakfast, depart to the starting point for briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure after which you will be led by experienced gorilla trackers on the slopes of the volcanoes. You will start from the site where the gorillas were encountered the day before and from here the gorilla tracking begins. Although the hike can be physically demanding, the anticipation of the exciting experience ahead is amazing, and the beauty of the gorilla forest and its inhabitants are fascinating. Meal plan: B L D Lodge: Bakiga Lodge Day 3: Bwindi National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park Today you will leave Bwindi National Park for Queen Elizabeth National Park passing through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park – famously known for its resident tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions is about 70% though sometimes they are hard to spot (most especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey). Hoping you get the chance to spot them, the sight will be spectacular! You will arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Meal plan: B L D Lodge: Marafiki safari Lodge/ Bush Lodge Day 4: Chimps Trek in Kalinzu Forest & boat safari on the Kazinga channel After early breakfast, depart to Kalinzu Forest for the chimpanzee trekking. Return to the lodge for lunch and then go on the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight. This game drive will take you through the Kasenyi track and the queens’ mile in the park and will reward you with animals like Lions, elephants, hyenas, Giant forest hogs, Bushbucks, Warthogs, Hyenas, civets, aardvarks, Leopards, and many more. After the game drive, you will drive back to your accommodation for late breakfast and then, later on, drive to Entebbe to reach in the evening. Meal plan: B L

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale Forest NP Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park. Meal plan: Lunch and Dinner Lodge: Turaco Treetops Lodge/ Similar Day 2: Chimp tracking Kibale Forest and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP Have breakfast and head to the rangers’ point where you will receive some briefing on the dos and don’ts during chimp trekking. Thereafter, you will proceed to trek the chimps in the Kibale Forest. Later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Marafiki Safari Lodge/ Similar Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel Be up early and have your breakfast. Proceed for a morning game drive in the park during which you will see Lions, Elephants, Leopard (though a rare sighting), Cape bushbuck, Cape Buffalos, Defassa Waterbucks, Giant Forest Hogs, and Uganda kob among others. In the afternoon you will go for a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Marafiki Safari Lodge/ Similar Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi with en-route game drive in Ishasha area Have breakfast then set off for Bwindi Impenetrable NP through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park famously known for its resident tree-climbing lions. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Bakiga Lodge Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Bunyonyi After breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing before you set off through the tracks to search for the gorillas. You will go with packed lunch because it’s hard to determine how long it will take you to meet these humble giants. However, the time ranges between 2-9 hours depending on the movement of the giant primates. The activity is tedious, it entails walking along steep hilly tracks however encountering these great relatives of man erases all the poor memories/ hardships you went through in trying to find them. Later continue driving further south to Lake Bunyonyi. A very beautiful lake with 29 islands which might make you feel like you are out of Africa. Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP and enjoy the evening game viewing Have breakfast and set off to Lake Mburo NP. Drive past the intensely terraced Kigezi hill slopes into Mbarara town and finally Lake Mburo NP. Arrive in the park in the early afternoon and take some rest before proceeding out for the late afternoon (evening) game viewing. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Lodge: Rwakobo Rock Resort Day 7: Mburo park (nature) walk and transfer to Entebbe or Kampala Enjoy your early breakfast and proceed for the Mburo morning park/nature walk in the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. Day 1: Iby’iwacu Cultural Experience & a Guided Nature Walk Around Volcanoes National Park Morning drive you to Volcanoes Nat Park. Start by enjoying a complimentary Kigali city tour before traveling to northern Rwanda. After a 2-hour drive from Kigali to Ruhengeri/Musanze, we will visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Experience in Kinigi. We’ll then be treated to a guided nature walk around Volcanoes National Park. Day 2: Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda We will start the day with a golden monkey trekking adventure in Volcanoes Nat Park. This primate is native to the high-altitude forests of the park. Once we have seen their playful interactions, we will head out of the park and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The transfer to Bwindi National Park will go through the Rwanda-Uganda border at Cyanika. Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Adventure at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Today is another day for trekking into the wilderness to spot the rare local animals. You will head to the Bwindi National Park gate immediately after breakfast to get a briefing about the gorilla trek. You will then embark on your tracking adventure, making your way through the rainforest until you find a family of mountain gorillas. The gorilla trek can take from 3 to 6 hours on average, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. It could last longer, so be prepared just in case! Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Nat Park via Ishasha Sector to Spot Tree-Climbing Lions We will start the journey in the morning from Bwindi Nat Park and drive to Queen Elizabeth Nat Park. We’ll arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in the late afternoon. Our first activity will be to drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, popularly known for the tree-climbing lions. While the sighting of the tree-climbing lions is not 100% guaranteed, a stopover at Ishasha is worth a visit! Day 5: Kasenyi Plains Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Trip Early breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, we will proceed to the famed Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot various species of wild animals. Expect to encounter the big five. We will return to the lodge for lunch and a quick break before joining the Kazinga Channel boat cruise for an afternoon of wild game viewing. We’ll have the chance to spot crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and a wide range of bird species on the channel waters. Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience at Kalinzu Forest & Return to Kigali Early morning breakfast followed by a drive to the Kalinzu Forest to experience tracking the chimpanzees in their forest home. If you are lucky on the trek, you might encounter some of the other different species of monkeys in the forest. These include colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and red-tailed monkeys. Once we have finished our last trekking adventure, it is time to return to Kigali.
