Your guided kayaking tour will begin as you check-in at the store front to sign your waivers, grab a bottle of complimentary water, and gear up for the kayak and hiking adventure. You will also be provided with a dry-bag to put all your personal belongings in to keep everything dry on the hike. From here, your group will head out with your professional guide to the Wailua River for an epic kayaking and hike adventure. You will paddle the majestic Wailua River, which is the only navigable river in Hawaii. This peaceful river winds through a tropical garden paradise of abundant palms, ferns, flowers and wildlife. Not only will your guide show you the pristine and natural wonderment of the Wailua River, but they will also teach you about the rich history of the area. Soon you will come to the North Fork where you will paddle leisurely through the Garden Isle’s most beautiful jungle river until you come to the trail head for Secret Falls. Here, you will dock up your kayak before heading out on a moderate hike through the Wailua Rainforest, the original home of the first Hawaiians. These original explorers of the island paddled from the Marquesas Islands to Kauai almost 1,500 years ago. You will hear about the legends of Hawaii and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai’s most sacred area. Hike through Kauai rainforest to the beautiful Secret Falls. The final portion of your hike is to the enchanting Uluwehi Waterfall, which descends 125 feet into a natural pool surrounded by rocks and rainforest. You can take a refreshing dip and play in the pool while your guide prepares your picnic lunch for you and your crew. We totally enjoyed kayaking. We loaded up our group and off we went. We stopped and pulled the kayaks up on shore and took a trail to a beautiful waterfall that your able to swim in. They provided lunch while sitting and relaxing by the falls. Only way to see the falls is to kayak and then Hike. The hike was easy. Our guide was wonderful. Trails were great. We accidentally booked two activities For the same day. We had to reschedule the kayaking and hiking trip for the next day. They were very accommodating. We would have lost our money if they had no openings for another day. Luckily we went in January so it wasn’t as busy as it normally is. Would definitely do this activity again
