Then appears the mountain that is not only prominent in sight but also in its spirituality, Gauri-Shanker. Lord Shiva and his consort Gauri are said to protect this mountain, which was first successfully climbed only in 1979. The mountains of Melungtse and Chugimago are next on the tour, the latter of which is still waiting to be climbed. Numbur and Karyolung, an intensely white mountain, will gleam with the rising sun as we carry on deeper into the mountain range. We will then pass Cho-Oyu, the sixth highest mountain in the world, reaching a height of 27,000 feet (8,201 meters). Gyachungkang, Pumori and Nuptse, each over 22,000 feet (7,000 meters) in height, will mark our path towards the highest mountain of them all: Mount Everest. Known as Sagarmatha by the Nepalese and Chomolungma by the Tibetans, this unbelievable mountain stretches 29,021 feet (8,848 meters) into the sky. Day 1: Your first day will begin with you traveling from Kathmandu to Chitwan. Once having arrived to Chitwan, you will be taken to your respective accommodation by your staff. You can then refresh yourself with cold drinks before having some time to rest. Following this rest break, visit the Chitwan National Park where you can explore the wildlife, history, and essence of the park. You will later enjoy an exotic sunset from the Rapti River, before a village tour around the Tharu Village including participation in a Tharu dance program. Day 2: You'll start with breakfast at 7:00AM, after which you will go on a canoe ride along the Rapti River. You will get to see a rare species of crocodile after a small jungle walk, following which you will have time to savor a quick delicious lunch. After lunch, go deep inside the jungle by Jeep where you will be able to observe the real beauty of the wildlife and vegetation. Day 1: Start with pickup from your hotel and travel to Tribhuvan Internation Airport to take an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Upon arrival at Lukla, be transferred to the starting point and begin the trek to Phakding. Stay overnight at a tea house lodge. Day 2: Make your way from Phakding to Namche Bazar, located at an altitude of 3,440 meters. Stay overnight in the town of Namche Bazar. Day 3: Take a rest day to acclimatize to the altitude in Namche Bazar. Relax and enjoy a second overnight stay in the town. Day 4:  Depart from Namche Bazar and hike to Tyangboche located at 3,867 meters. Stay in Tyangboche overnight. Day 5: Leave Tyangboche and hike through a beautiful rhododendron forest. Cross a suspension bridge at Imja Khola, and head towards Minlinggo. Enter the Imjatse Valley beneath the mighty peaks of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Lhotse. Stay overnight in Dingboche, located at 4,260 meters.  Day 6: Spend a day acclimatizing to the altitude in Dingboche with an overnight stay at a tea house lodge. Day 7: Head towards Lobuche from Dingboche on a 5.5-hour hike. Stop for lunch in Dugla, and then arrive in Lobuche for an overnight stay at 4,930 meters.  Day 8: After breakfast at Lobuche, begin the trek to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep. This is one of the most rewarding sections of the entire excursion. Follow the trail up the rocky paths with great views of the Khumbu glacier. Visit the famous Everest Base Camp located at 5,364 meters in altitude. Make your way back to Gorakshep where you will stay the night. Day 9: Hike from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar located at 5,545 meters, and then to Pheriche at 4,243 meters, where you will stay overnight in a tea house lodge. Day 10: Start your descent with a hike from Pheriche to Tyangboche located at 3,867 meters, then Trek- Pheriche to Namche Bazaar. (Altitude: 3440m)where you will spend the night. Day 11: Make your way back to Lukla from Namche Bazaar and a last night at lukla. Day 12: Early morning, board a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Day 2: Travel from Kathmandu to Birethanti via Pokhara (Min Altitude: 1100 m / 3609 ft) On the second day of your trip, you will be traveling early in the morning for a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Birethanti via Pokhara on a Luxury Tourist Bus. The trip will take you 7-8 hours. You will then be exploring Birethanti, a small settlement. You will also be staying at Birethanti for your night halt. Day 3: Drive to Simrung and Trek to Sinuwa (Max Altitude: 2340 m / 7677 ft) Today you will be taking a one-hour drive from Birethanti to Simrung, the start point of your trek. You will then be trekking (6-7 hours) towards the beautiful village of Sinuwa via Jhinu Danda, a natural hot spring, and Chomrong, a modern Gurung village. The village provides you with an insight into the traditional Gurung cultures, and their hospitality. On your journey, you will be passing through various scenic trails including waterfalls, spectacular views of the mountain range including Mt. Annapurna South and Mt. Himchuli among others. You will be staying in Sinuwa for your night halt. Day 4: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali (Max Altitude: 3230 m / 10597 ft) On day four you will be taking a 6-7 hours hike from Sinuwa to Deurali via Himalaya, a small settlement with tea houses. Today you will be yet again passing through a dense forest while exploring many waterfalls on the way. Deurali Guest House will be your night halt for the day. Day 5: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (Max Altitude: 4130 m / 13549 ft) On day five you will be arriving at your destination, the ‘Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp. On your journey, you will pass through a valley, an experience like never before. The journey from Deurali to Annapurna basecamp takes you 5-6 hours. Tea Houses at Annapurna Base Camp itself will be your night halt for the day. The place is famous for its mesmerizing view of the Annapurna Mountain Range with an amazing view of the sunset towards the west. Day 6: Trek back to Bamboo / Sinuwa (Min Altitude: 2340 m / 7677 ft) On day six, you will be witnessing a spectacular view of sunrise and a delicious breakfast in the early morning. You will then be trekking down towards Bamboo / Sinuwa via Deurali, Himalaya, and Dobhan. A guest house in Bamboo / Sinuwa will be your halt for the night. Day 7: Trek back to Ghandruk and travel to Pokhara (Min Altitude: 830 m / 2723 ft) On day seven, you will be hiking down towards Ghandruk (5-6 hours) via Chomrong.
