What people are saying about Kasane

1) the transport to & fro the boat jetty came punctually 2) the cruise operator seemed to be a different company - it wasn't peak season yet and there were different groups of people pooled together to fill up a boat. It is quite usual to do this. 3) The cruise guide was patient, detailed and tried all he could to spot wildlife & gave ample time for everyone to take photos The cruise was very enjoyable. 4) we were given bottled water for the 3-hour cruise. Unfortunately these were missing when we had to change from a transfer boat to the cruise boat. 5) the company was quick to respond when we contacted them through whatsapp

We sat in a small boat for max. 6 people. I would choose this over the large tour boats at any time. We moved faster and were able to get closer to the bank and therefore closer to the animals. Our guide was really great. He was able to show us many animals, provide us with a lot of interesting information about them and the park and, with his good mood, gave us a few great hours on the river.

It was terrific - we saw crocodiles up close and hippopotamuses out of the water. The highlight was watching families of elephants ford the river in single file, on their way to their accommodations for the night. We also saw giraffes and zebras and sunset over the river.

It was great to see so many different animals. It was a very valuable experience. However, it rained, so it would be helpful if you could rent a raincoat.

They even rebooked us flexibly because we wanted to leave the day before. Great service
