2. From Nairobi: Giraffe Center and Mbogani House

We saw so many animals! Getting up at 5AM is very early but it was totally worth it. We saw lots of tigers (around 10), 3 Rhinos, 4 Giraffes and many other animals. If you want to experience the wild near Nairobi this is a great excursion. The vehicle is a minivan with a roof that can be elevated so you can see through the free space. After we went to the Elephant Orphanage which was great too. And last we went to the Giraffe Center until the driver brought us to our hotel. Our driver was Anthony and he was great. He always asked us if we wanted to stop anywhere and the tour was fully customizable to our wishes. We are two travelers and we were six people in total on the tour. (excluding driver)

I was paired with Julius for a relaxed afternoon tour, who was very knowledgeable about the sights and history of Nairobi. The giraffe centre is smaller than I expected, although is well worth visiting if you wish to contribute positively toward the conservation of these endangered rothschild giraffes, as well as community education! I loved the Karen B museum and history of her adventures in Kenya. What a wonderful way to end an amazing stay in beautiful Kenya. Thanks Julius!

Like all trips, very expensive. In addition, the hellish traffic in Nairobi takes a lot of time. But what awaits you at your destination is awesome! 1. Karen Blixen Museum: the home of the famous writer of "Beyond Africa". Very well-kept property, including a tour of the entire house. 2. Giraffe Center: You can feed the giraffes, they even "kiss" you. Great souvenir photos! The tour is highly recommended ......

My Guide Julius was great. He knows so much about Karen and the Giraffes. I really enjoyed it.
