Explore the North Shore of Oahu on a guided tour from Honolulu. Visit one of the best surfing locations on the island, as well as drive by the historic town of Haleiwa, grab lunch, and explore the tide pools and turtles at Turtle Beach Start with pickup from your accommodation in Honolulu and drive towards the famous North Shore of Oahu, where we will pass by, a couple of the best surfing beaches on the island, where you may spot pros riding the waves, during winter. Head to Turtle Beach where turtles can be seen swimming and playing in the calm waters. You will have free time to snorkel, swim or relax on the beach. Next, purchase some local farm-style food at Kualoa Ranch. Not only is Kualoa Ranch the official film location for Jurassic Park and all tropical movies, but it also offers great locally farmed and raised food. Next, enjoy free coffee and Mac nut samples at the mac nut farm, where many local products can be purchased and enjoyed. Following that, see the Chinaman's Hat islet off the shore at Kualoa Beach Park, a popular photo opportunity. Embark on a kayaking adventure on Kaneohe Bay and explore one of Oahu's most beautiful areas with this kayak rental. See a variety of local wildlife, and explore the coral reefs in the bay with provided snorkel gear. Admire the beautiful scenery while traveling through the bay, and enjoy the freedom of an adventure at your own pace with no guide. Set aside at least three hours to get the full Kaneohe experience, but take as much time as you'd like in the bay with the freedom of a self-guided adventure through the bay. Meet the rental staff near Waiahole Nursery where all of your required gear will be waiting along with the rental staff. Launch the kayak into the bay after receiving all of your provided gear. Paddle all the way out of the bay to get past the shallow area and reach the closest coral reef after about 15-20 minutes of paddling. Enjoy the best snorkeling on the reef along the outer edges of the underwater coral islands. Choose between paddling around the reef, swimming, or snorkeling, and use the provided kayak leash to keep the kayak nearby. Take the chance to paddle to other nearby reefs as there are several in the area. Spot different species of wildlife while exploring the reefs, and potentially Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles as there is a large population living around the reef. Finish the adventure when you wish, and return to the launch site to return your rental gear.

5. Oahu: Kaneohe Self-Guided Sandbar Kayaking Experience

Go kayaking in Kaneohe Bay, admire spectacular views, and experience standing on the sandbar. See underwater reefs and coral islands as you paddle. Start your tour at the meeting point in Kaneohe and receive all of the gear and instructions you'll need to enjoy your day. If you want a more adventurous route that includes a long-distance paddle, you can paddle right from the meeting location (weather permitting). You will kayak by a lot more reef formations and have time to snorkel around at least one reef. If you would like a shorter paddle and more direct route to the Kaneohe Bay Sandbar, load your kayak onto your vehicle with our provided pads and straps and head over to the small boat harbor launching point 10 minutes south of Waiahole. Paddle out to sea as you take in scenic views of the Ko'olau Mountains. Keep a lookout for underwater reef and coral islands. Arrive at the sandbar and step onto it for some amazing mountain views. Have the option of snorkeling to get better views of the underwater marine life. Use the provided kayak leash to keep track of your boat without damaging the coral. Return to the meeting point at the end of your experience.
