Begin you tour at 7:00 AM with a pickup from your guide. Your first stop lies within the valley and is of great archaeological value. Terrific. We saw so much and the driver was very happy to stop as we liked. Day 1 was very full and the elephant orphanage was amazing, with the Buddha Tooth Temple also a real highlight. A guide made all the difference at both sites. The Herb Garden was not worth the time - very uninterested formulaic delivery by the site's guide and a very hard sell. I would recommend this be withdrawn from the program (check out reviews of this place on tripadvisor) or a better garden sourced. We have visited similar in India and found them more "genuine". Tea factory was very good. Driver navigated the chatoic roads and heavy Xmas traffic well and was awlays early. Hotel accommodation was also excellent. Well worth doing. Thank you!
