Full description
Explore the wild landscape of Cyprus surrounding Kalavasos Village on a 4-hour bike tour that's tailored to your fitness level and experience. Once you’ve met your guide at the bike station in the village, they will evaluate which tour is best for you and your group. Each tour is different, cycling the paths and trails of hills and mountains, as well as country roads through hamlets and villages. As an example, take a 16-mile (27-kilometer) tour around the 2 neighboring villages of Kalavasos, cycling up a few hills and back down the valley, passing a hidden chapel en route. A gentle 7-mile (12-kilometer) mine tour will take you to a scenic view over a dam, before cycling down to an old mine along a winding single-track path, and back along an old railroad through a riverbed bordered by high reeds. The more experienced can take a 22-mile (36 kilometer) bike ride through some old abandon villages, with the chance to discover how halloumi cheese is made at a local farm. Another option is to cycle the gravel roads down to the seafront, where you can take a dip in the sea or snack at one of the many taverns of Governors’ Beach.

Loved it, highly recommend!

Andy and the bike club leader who took me on a tour were both great. Hilly area, I recommend the electric bike option (which will still give you a great workout).. Lots to see, Kalavosos may be the most perfect little town in Cyprus. An easy 1.5 euro city bus ride and hour outside of Larnaca, in itself a great tour .. really recommend.
