What people are saying about Kalabaka

A must visit when you’re in Athens. It’s a day trip so don’t try to plan anything else on this day as you’ll be fairly tired. You need to take the train on your own to Kalambaka station (it’s long so carry snacks) Once you meet the guide you’ll stop for a quick toilet break and to restock on food for the day as you’ll need to eat on the go! You get to see great monasteries and learn stories about them which are very interesting. The views are It’s very different from the Greece you see on social media so definitely worth the visit!

An excellent 2 day tour with faultless organisation. Such good value. My return train left at 6.30 pm and the tour finished at 12.30pm. Kalabaka is not very interesting, so I would recommend negotiating with your hotel for a late checkout. The climbs to the monasteries are demanding, so definitely not suitable for anyone with limited mobility. Photos inside the monasteries are forbidden so but the illustrated guide.

Meteora is a beautiful place. I recommend to visit. Our guide and driver were very nice and spoke excellent English. I also really appreciate Dimitris' effort to help us, because our train back to Thessaloniki was cancelled. He was amazing and very helpful. I plan to visit Meteora during another season (maybe early summer) and will definitely choose this agency again. Thank you very much

Lasted the whole day and includes the train ticket in the price. The monastery's were great to see and the views were amazing

The trip was well-planned and we had an excellent experience with the skilled guide. Highly recommended!
