The group heads to UNESCO's protected area, where the visitor will see and learn everything about this amazing location. Using electric bikes makes this ride easy and gives the rider the chance to explore and enjoy without worrying about the slope of the route. Your leader will give you a comprehensive explanation of the area, the geological phenomenon, culture, and religion, with many stops for sightseeing. The tour covers all six functional monasteries and many of the old monasteries' remains and hermit caves. The visitor can choose to visit three of the operating monasteries. You will have plenty of opportunities for amazing photos and for enjoying the beautiful views of the rock formations and the valley below. The tour will finish at approximately 1 pm at the point it started.

There will also be a number of stops allowing you to take in the beauty of the surroundings. The tour leader will give you a comprehensive explanation of the area, geological phenomena, culture and religion. The tour covers six functional monasteries and many of the old monasteries' remains and hermit caves. Unfortunately, you will not be able to go inside of the monasteries, as they are closed during this tour. After an amazing ride, you'll go to one of the most beautiful spots of the area to enjoy the majestic sunset over the cliffs. 

Do a bike tour of the UNESCO-listed monasteries of Meteora. Bike among the giant rocks and learn about the history of the area from your guide. Visit the Church of the Virgin Mary, the Bandovas caves, and 6 of the monasteries that are still open. Finally, take in one of the best sunsets in Greece. Begin by meeting your guide at the bike rental facilities and being assigned an e-bike. Receive a brief introduction on how the bike works. Make your way to your first stop, the 1000-year-old Church of the Virgin Mary, which is the most important monument in Kalabaka. Next, cycle uphill towards the Meteora monasteries. Make a stop at the caves of Bandovas. Explore the caves with your guide and learn about the legends of the old hermitage monks of Bandovas. Enjoy a cold drink along the way. Continue cycling uphill, appreciating the effortless ride that an electronic bike offers you. See all six of the monasteries that are still open today, and view the others that have long ago been abandoned. Use the opportunity to take as many photos as you like. Just before sundown, cycle to an observation point in Meteora and take in panoramic views. Stay and watch the sun set over the valley below. Afterwards, experience the thrill of riding downhill through the nature of Meteora until you reach Kalabaka again, where the tour ends.

The area stand about 600 meters above the sea level but our E-Bikes will take you up there in comfort and without even breaking a sweat. Up there you will have the chance to see where monks nestled on many of the giant rock summits, a scattering of monasteries, each a unique arcitectural gem. Monks start to build the monasteries thei community up there from 11th century. Also our expertized personnel will take you to the places with most panoramic view so you could take pictures of your life of this impressive rock formation. After visiting the last monastery you will cycle back to Kalabaka where tis feel-free experience will end after almost 5 hours.
