Then, head to the desert where the main complex David Gareja lavra is located via the Kakhetian highway. The tour to Khakheti was more than just wine! At first wine was the main purpose we did choose this tour, but the beauty of Sighnagi and Kavkaz mountain were hidden charming point of this tour! Also, our tour guide, Catherine was so friendly and active! Especially, she let us know many cultural and historical things about Georgia and the sites we visited - also the drink culture of Georgia, gaumarjos :D The driver was so helpful and professional! More than anything, the amazing lunch with bunch of Georgian cuisine was also one of the best as well!

Excellent, young team of professional guides having good knowledge of the history of the places on the way and of course wine related. Lunch was a Georgian Supra (feast) with many popular local vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour with them.
