What people are saying about Kadıköy, Istanbul

Overall rating

4.7 / 5

based on 78 reviews

I had the opportunity to see Istanbul during a 24 hour layover. I’m a solo female traveler from the US and I wanted to see as much as possible without wasting time getting lost or spending my limited time going somewhere that wasn’t open. This was perfect! The ride from the airport to my hotel and back was smooth. The guide was fantastic, he took me to the places I was most interested in and skipped what I wasn’t. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and the opportunity to learn about the culture by asking questions. It really felt like a friend was taking me around.

Emre Sirmen is a very good tour guide. He has lived in China for 3 years and is fluent in Chinese. When we booked, we didn't expect the tour guide to speak Chinese, and we were very pleasantly surprised. Emre was born and raised in Asia, knows life in Asia like the back of his hand, and gave us a lot of good advice. Very recommended!

So glad we started our trip with this food tour. We were able to eat a wide range of traditional Turkish food and drink. Our guide was fantastic and we left with more confidence in choosing what we’ll eat throughout our stay.

Our guide Bahar was amazing, a total superstar. The tour was educational, fun, and delicious. Be prepared to eat A LOT! A great way to see many parts of Istanbul, for sure.

our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, we truly enjoyed it!
