This was the highlight of my time in South Africa. Amazing tour which gives you a deep understanding of South Africa's history in a way that is very good to follow. My guide was the best! So knowledgeable, so friendly and tailored the tour to out interests. He never grew tired to answer all questions and shared different perspectives. One could really feel how he sincerely enjoys showing us his country. The way he interacted with everyone on the street showed how sincerely nice he is. I also really loved Soweto and the lunch we had. This is not a tour that extensively walks you though the very deprived areas of Soweto to look at poor people which I appreciated. No need for this sort of tourism. On the contrary, you see a real picture and interact with people.
Our full day tour with James was fantastic! He did such a great job at explaining the history and facts about all of our stops and was entertaining as well. It didn’t feel like an all day event since he made everything enjoyable. All of the places we visited were great with a good amount of time at each stop. We definitely learned a lot and tried to soak it all in. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with James!
was very good , saw so much , 2 hours not enough time at the apartheid Museum you have to skip through so much of the information , lunch is a bit of a tourist trap and costs 205 Rand for the food which is a lot of money for Soweto but was good .. saw lots of other stuff , sometime we couldn't stop as not safe, Our Tour guide Christian was amazing new some much info and was very funny too.. i had a great time
We had a great day with Christian visiting sights in Johannesburg & learning about the city. Interesting, safe & a buffet lunch in Soweto before visiting Nelson Mandela home. Apartheid Museum a must. My husband & I came away with interesting facts information & general great day
