Jason from Deeprift was our tour guide for the Johannesburg City Tour and the Pilanesberg National Park Full Day Safari. He was punctual, had refreshments readily available, the vehicle was both clean, spacious and his knowledge of the City was exceptional. On both occasions, he was well presented and ensured my colleagues and I was safe and out of harm’s way. The journey to Pilanesberg was the highlight of our trip; which was made that much entertaining by the flexibility of Jason and allowing us the opportunity to navigate and direct where we wanted to go and see - and as such I have absolutely no reservations in recommending Deeprift for your choice of tour guide.

Fantastic Adventure

Jason was wonderful, and escorted me on an exciting excursion, picking me up at my hotel, traveling safely to and from Pilanesberg, explaining all sorts of interesting points along the way and taking me out to lunch at a beautiful spot overlooking a pond, that actually had a Hippo in it. Jason spotted it, as we walked around, making my hopes of getting some good photos a pleasant reality. The Safari was great too. I was able to get many photographs of elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, cheetah, zebra, wildebeest, and many more. It was good to be able to make use of a weekend in Johannesburg, in such a wonderful way. Thank you Jason!

Excellent Trip!

Right from the pickup to the tour to the drop off, everything went perfectly as expected. Our guide Jason was very informative and gave us a lot of information of the animals in the reserve, a bit about Johannesburg. He was very patient and we got to spend a lot of time where we wanted to. It was very hot, the ice box he kept with bottles of water really helped beat the heat. Overall amazing trip and I'd love to go back again with him.

The tour was AMAZING ! The guides were really professional and gave great explanations all day long. I was able to see lions, elephants, rhinos, girafes, zebras, crocodiles etc. All in their natural habitat. It is the perfect tour if you have 1 day available to do a safari.

Generous and met all expectations

A full day with everything we had expected and a little more! Got to see a lot of animals, eat fantastic lunch and then choose for themselves what the rest of the day would look like. Perfect simply.
