1. From Taipei: Private Scenic Tour to Jiufen, Yehliu & Pingxi

Taiwan is without a doubt filled with an endless collection of seascapes, landscapes, and beautiful landmarks that will stun even the most articulate poet. This tour is designed for those who wish to visit the most iconic and picturesque sites throughout Northern Taiwan. On top of snapping some Instagram-worthy pictures, learn about the Taiwanese culture and history behind those sites, whilst immersing yourself in the beauty of nature. Make your first stop at the Queen's Head at Yehliu Geopark. Gaze in awe at the magical views of stone formations inside the park. Your guide will not only snap cool shots for you, but will also explain the formation of the unique stones as well as the Taiwanese people and their culture. Then, visit Chifen, which is well known for its beauty and history as a former goldmine town in Northern Taiwan. Taste delicious Taiwanese snack along the alley, or choose the option to enjoy tea at the A-Mei Tea House, which inspired Oscar awarded animator Hayao Miyazaki for the beautiful house in Spirited Away.  After this, continue your scenic tour to Pingxi, Taiwan's most romantic place. Stroll along Shifen Old Street, one of the most popular movie shooting spots, where you can see a collection of local shops along old train tracks and winding lanes. Towards the end of your tour, make wishes by releasing by a sky lantern into the air and hope that your dreams will come true.

From Taipei: Jiufen Village and Northeast Coast Tour

2. From Taipei: Jiufen Village and Northeast Coast Tour

Explore the Northeast Coast of Taipei and stroll through Jiufen Village on this afternoon tour from Taipei. Visit the Northeast Coast National Scenic Area, a popular swimming spot for locals, and drive past lighthouses, fishing villages, pastoral farmlands, and charming temples. Meet your guide and driver and take a ride to the northeast part of Taipei to discover the remnants of the gold-rush past. As you make your way towards Jiufen, stop at Nanya Natural Rock Formation, to see unique rock formations eroded by sea waters. Continue your tour as you drive past the Bay of Two Colors, affectionately nicknamed the Ying-Yang Sea due to its contrasting colors. Next, head to Jinguashi to see the Remains of the 13 Levels. Established in the 1930s, this copper and gold refining plant was shut down in the 1980s. Today this location has become a popular spot for shooting music videos and TV commercials. Next stop, Jiufen Village, once the center of gold mining in Taiwan. The gold is gone, but the quaint old village, built of closely-packed houses clinging to steep mountainsides, continues to offer enchanting scenery and fascinating glimpses into the lifestyles of the past. Sip on a cup of tea at one of the town's unique tea shops, or stroll along the quaint streets and shop for local snacks, like Tarro Balls, or souvenirs. Your tour ends with a return transfer to your chosen drop-off location, at Xinyi Shopping District (Taipei 101) or MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station.

We had a wonderfull day trip with jimmy. He was very professional, accomodating, freindly and very knowledgable about the history and made our trip memorable. He also showed us a little bit of daily life in taiwan which was not in the program. His driving was so good that we were able to relax during the entire car ride. A good brand ambassador for your company. We highly recommend the day trip with jimmy
