What people are saying about Jerash

The 3 day trip to Jordan included a city tour to Jerash and Amman, visit to Petra and jeep safari in Wadi Rum. We stayed in Bedouin camps which gave us an authentic experience to the Bedouin lifestyle and a special mention to the tea that they served. Although, it was too cold (3 degree celsius) we were provided with 4 blankets which was sufficient to protect us from the cold. We were a group of 40 people but everything was on time. I am a vegetarian, and had no difficulty finding vegetarian dishes and the buffet menu had more vegetarian dishes than non-vegetarian. Our guide Mahdi provided us details to the social and cultural aspects of Jordan, he was even open to political and economical questions. As far as the border crossing is concerned it should not be a problem unless you are carrying your passport and money for the entrance and exit to Jordan. The time provided at each stop was sufficient and we were not hurried from anywhere.

A memorable trip seeing wonderful architecture.

I initially booked wanting to see Petra only, but I am very glad the tour also took us to Jaresh and Amman. The recovered past civilisation buildings are terrific, and the guide, Emad was knowledgeable, and engaging. The Bedouin camp was very different to staying in a hotel, but I liked it. Petra is terrific, and the rest of the tour was very interesting. Remember to bring Jordanian money, as there is no access to money changers or an ATM when you leave the Israel/ Jordan border.

Abdulla the tour guide, did a great job leading us on our 3 day adventure to Petra. He was attentive, informative and funny. Day 1 and 3 are very long days of travel and border crossings. There could be a little more information about what to expect on the other side, once you cross the border. We waited for 45 minutes before anyone showed up to continue the trip with little information about how long we would wait. Other than that, everything was great!

It was amazing visiting Jordan for two days. The sites were breathtaking. Our Jordan guide Mehdi gave us a lot of information and explained everything really well. However, please keep in mind that it can take a while to enter both borders. From Israel to Jordan was okay, the other way around almost took two hours because of interrogations, passport checks and what not. I can however highly recommend taking this trip. You will not regret it!

This was a fantastic tour! Our guide, Rania, was very knowledgeable about every site we saw, and our driver, Mustafa, was friendly and efficient. The Bedouin camp was amazing, and the lunches we stopped for were also excellent. The only thing I would note is that you need to have 107 NIS for the Israeli exit fee and at least 60 Jordanian dinars (or US equivalent)—there is no ATM at the border as some people on our tour were told.
