Full description
Since its debut in 1997, Nanta has become Korea's most popular theatrical show, drawing the largest audiences in the history of performing arts in South Korea. Nanta integrates Korean drumming routines with western performance styles, and is one of the “Top Ten Things to See in Seoul”. Using various kitchen items, this high energy performance combines dancing, percussion, acrobatics, and visual humor to delight audiences of all ages. Due to its huge success, Nanta opened a new theater in Jeju so that tourists in Jeju can also feel the heat and passion of Nanta.  During the show, three cooks start their day. While they are busy preparing the dishes, a bad tampered manager appears and orders them to prepare food for a wedding by 6 o'clock in the afternoon. The cooks quickly begin to work, peeling this here, chopping that there, and frying it over there, the whole kitchen rocks and rushes. At last, the finally have all the jobs done and invite the audience to a thrilling and powerful party performance.

In order to reach the venue from the middle of Jeju city, you will need to either take a cab for 30 minutes or bus by 45 minutes. Additionally, the bus back to town after the show can be quite a wait as well. As such, travelers with family should take note of the waiting time.
