Jeju: UNESCO Sites & Sunrise Peak Hiking Small Group Tour

1. Jeju: UNESCO Sites & Sunrise Peak Hiking Small Group Tour

Honje-Opsoye means welcome in the Jeju dialect. With its unique culture and breathtaking nature, Jeju has been selected as a top vacation and travel destination for both locals and foreign visitors. It is such a huge island that travelers often find it difficult to navigate by public transport or car rental. Join this small-group tour to all the UNESCO highlights of Jeju and visit the island's highlights in a more private setting. Start your day with a hotel pickup and head to Woljeongri Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Jeju, famous for its picturesque landscape and well-decorated cafes, to grab a cup of coffee. The emerald-colored ocean will welcome you and refreshingly start your day. The next stop is Manjang Cave, one of the UNESCO sites in Jeju, which is a lava tunnel filled with mysterious features. It will take around 1 hour of trekking to see and your tour guide will help you find interesting rocks and geographical features. Then, visit the Haenyeo (Woman Diver) Museum that tells the history of Haenyeo, Jeju's female divers registered as UNESCO's intangible heritage. Hungry after a bit of a walk? A Jeju black pork meal or bibimbap (vegetarian option) will be waiting for you at a nearby restaurant. Your next stop is Herb Park filled with various herbs and flowers, where you can experience a unique aroma foot spa. Arrive at Seongsan Sunrise Peak (Ilchulbong) for a light 1 hour of trekking. The peak, another UNESCO site, is a crater made by volcanic activity and is a signature must-visit place of Jeju Island. If you are lucky, you will be able to catch the beautiful sunset. The tour ends approximately at 6:00 PM with a ride back to your hotel in Jeju city downtown.

Jeju: Private Transfer to Manjangul Cave and Ticket

Travel with a professional driver to take you door-to-door between your accommodation and Manjanggul Cave. After pick-up from your accommodation, get some brief information about not only Manjanggul Cave but also Jeju's popular spots through brochures and travel guide materials on the vehicle. Then, get your tickets and head straight to the Cave. Discover how the cave is filled with incredible natural wonders and a mysterious atmosphere created by colorful lighting and unique geological features. Walk down the long trail within the cave full of lava tubes, flowstones, bridges, shelves, and cave corals. You might be able to meet a friendly bat on the ceiling of the cave. The Cave is one of the must-see UNESCO sites on Jeju Island. After 90 minutes of cave trekking and taking amazing pictures, come back down and enjoy a comfortable ride back to your hotel. Select the "Advanced Language Driver" option for a driver with advanced English or Chinese skills who can brief you about Manjanggul Cave and answer your questions about Jeju Island on the way from and to the cave. What people are saying about Jeju

It was a nice experience with Captain Angelo and fellow travelers. We could visit all the stated places and had ample time everywhere. The Korean lunch, included in the activity, was good. The self-foot massage that followed our hiking was comforting. The prices could have been slightly lower though. However, I would recommend this trip for both solo/group travelers.

Jeju Lucas Tours, or local guide in Jeju for the tour was outstanding! Our host was super friendly and gave us a great education on Jeju island and it's history. I highly recommend the Manjanguul Lava Caves and especially our tour guide!

The tour guide was very informative and helpful. She gave us time to explore the areas well and recommended a lot of good places to check out in Jeju. Highly recommend.

This tour is well packed and allowed me to visit many UNESCO spots. I felt that I had a very good overview of Jeju Island is about.

The excursion with June was wonderful: perfectly organized and very informative. I highly recommend taking her tours!
