What people are saying about Java

Our guide Gusti picked us up punctually at the meeting point and the journey began. After a short drive to the Gilimanuk ferry port, where we got a delicious warung dinner from Gusti, we crossed to Java and drove to a local guide. Our local guide Andi immediately took us to the Ijen crater... without revealing too much: it was more than impressive, as was the later sunrise. The excursion itself is definitely TOP, but you should be prepared for a few hours drive and a not very easy descent to the crater. Our guide Andi was a cheerful, calm fellow who was able to tell us all kinds of things about the "Miners". Gusti was an outstanding driver who always provided us with drinks, food and sweets, and shortened the journey time with all sorts of tips and knowledge about Bali and Indonesia. Everything at least as described, and highly recommended! We have always felt in good hands

A mega good excursion Started with our pick up at the hotel by our driver Gusti (clean car), he took care of everything (food/drink) the whole trip. On site we met our tour guide Mr. Andi, a former miner. We felt safe the whole tour, he knew the best places to take photos and also knew the right times when it was best to be where. He took such great photos of us and explained a lot about the volcano to us. After the tour, our driver Gusti took care of the traditional Indonesian food before we went back. We felt safe and very well looked after the whole time. I can only recommend this trip.

We were a group of two adults and two small children, 5 & 8. Our guide/driver Ahmad was very patient, quick to enjoy the moments with us and very knowledgeable. He helped make this a very special day. Please ask for him!

great guide, good english, we were allowed to choose everything when and where & he was super knowledgeable

We had a wonderful time on our trip climbing the ijen crator. Great driver and local tour guide.
