Passing through on the way to Banff we made the trek across the Skywalk and it was well worth the time. I'm generally not one to seek out heights of more than a few feet and so I hesitated before I took my first step on the see-through glass looking down almost one thousand feet to what seems like a bottomless drop. I did however gather the courage to proceed at the risk of certain death, or so I thought. I can report I survived relatively unscathed and ended up walking the glass three times at the direction and command of my teenage daughter who enjoyed the spectacle of my knees shaking more than she did the intended attractions and scenery.
It was amazing. The drive to the center tho was a little rough because it was snowing the whole day but regardless of that fact, the Skywalk was open and staff were accomodating to all visitors. I would definitely recommend it.
The tram was excellent and we really appreciated the operator who provided a guided tour. At the top the views were amazing and the hike up to the summit was worth the effort.
The shuttle guides are great. We had a tour in person with Morgan and it was very informative. The view was spectacular!
The bus was world class for viewing, with glasstop front above driver and large windows next to the seats.
