We went on the earliest possible cruise out to Spirit Island. The cruise was amazing, spectacular views and if you go early like we did the mist over the water is beautiful. The staff are very very knowledgable and helpful. We had Jordan as our captain and she was brilliant, we even had a problem with one of the engines which meant our journey back was much slower than usual, but she kept us informed. Our guide for the tour was Claire, she was outstanding. I can’t give her enough praise, she was polite and courteous. Always willing to help and her knowledge was fantastic. Couldn’t advise going on this cruise anymore.

The captain and guide were terrific. Two sailing were combined into one sailing so the boat was full to capacity. Sadly, some other passengers were very rude talking at the top of their voices drowning out the guide’s interesting and fun presentation. Also, some passengers were very possessive about their seats. The lake is stunning. Just hope you don’t get stuffed onto a boat with boorish, thoughtless people.

Jared and Gregory couldn’t have been more wonderful. The scenery is unparalleled, of course, but the background of the area and history of its indigenous people was interesting and delivered in such a delightful manner by Jared. He was so courteous and engaging with all the age groups on the trip. We’ll be talking about that experience for years to come.
