While enjoying your meal, listen as researchers share their experiences with the dolphins and learn about their natural behaviors and habitats. Next, hop on a boat to find PV's resident pod of bottlenose dolphins. Keep an eye out for marine turtles, birds, and giant mantas along the way. From Dec to March there's also a possibility of seeing spinner dolphins, rough-toothed dolphins, and, with a bit of luck, even humpback whales and orcas. Listen to the dolphins communicate through an onboard hydrophone. The guides are specialists in cetaceans and marine ecology and will have a lot of information to share about these ocean habitats. Depending on the mood of the pod, the guides may judge that it's possible to go for a swim with the dolphins. This is a truly special experience, as the juvenile dolphins are very curious about humans. Those who wish may take the opportunity to participate in the guides' research project.
