Full description
Take an exciting private day trip to Ranthambore National Park from Jaipur, ideal for wildlife enthusiasts. The park was once a royal hunting ground, and still houses the Royal Fort and a scattering of ancient temples. The area is known for Bengal tigers, mugger crocodiles, Indian leopards, sloth bears, and hundreds of species of birds. After early pick up from your hotel or the airport in Jaipur, relax on the approximately 3 to 4-hour drive to Sawai Madhopur. Reach Ranthambore at 1 PM. Your 4-hour afternoon safari will start at approximately 2 PM. Travel through the forest zone with a government-approved naturalist guide in an open 6-seater Jeep or a larger canter, as you look out for the varied Indian flora and fauna in its natural habitat. At the end of the safari around 6:30 PM, the driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Jaipur. You may request a dinner break on the way back. Enjoy a fun, memorable tour at India's most popular national park.

They picked me up directly at the hotel, quiet but friendly driver. Too bad we didn't see tigers, but we saw many other animals. The guy from the agency with whom I waited for the vehicle to arrive for the park, Firoz, was really kind and thoughtful, he did everything to make me feel at ease and not make the waiting burden!

Great Nature Advanture, Everything went smooth according to description and plenty of nature to see throughout the park. Lucky enough to see a Mother Bengal Tiger ! It is a long day perhaps worth staying a night at the park and fitting in another safari the next day if time permitting

It was a very good experience. The driver was really good and careful, the guides in the park were gentle and informative. Most important of all, we saw two tigers and a lot of other animals, like crocodiles, deer and thousands of unique birds. Important information before you go: - The drive is long (about 3h each way, 6h total) and you will be on the tour for also 3h. - We did the group option with ˜16 people. If you have the money, I would chose the jeep/small group option
