Discover small fishing towns and the landscapes of the Black Sea coast on a full-day excursion from Istanbul. Head north-east of Istanbul on the Anatolian side to Sile, a small Black Sea fishing town known for its sandy beaches and open-weave cotton fabric, and its past role as a port of call for ships sailing east from the Bosphorus. Take a stroll along the fishing harbor or relax with a cup tea at the hilltop café overlooking the lighthouse. On the way to Agva you’ll come across picturesque Turkish villages such as Kabakoz and Suaybli, where time seems to stand still. Continue along the coastal route to Agva, situated between the Yesilcay and Goksu rivers that flow into the Black Sea. You’ll take a leisurely boat ride down the Goksu River, enjoying the rich green landscapes and views of Agva. Take a break for lunch to enjoy the local fish.
