Full description
Climb aboard a pleasure boat and forget your worries as you enjoy a relaxing half-day cruise down the Bosphorus Strait. Marvel at the views of beautiful Ottoman-era mansions and the minarets of the city mosques as you sit down to a lunch of grilled chicken and typical meze dishes. Go for a stroll on deck to soak up the sun and see the many famous sights that line both coastlines, such as Galata Tower and the immense Bosphorus Bridge that connects Asia and Europe. Sail to the Black Sea, and then make your way to the small coastal town of Anadolu Kavagi. Drop anchor and enjoy a walk in the lush hills of the surrounding area. Beautiful boat trip with good food and courteous friendly guide. You get an impression of what it looks like along the Bosphorus. Two minus points (which cost the 5th star): We didn't drive to the Black Sea as promised (or at least suggested) in the description, we only saw it and turned around hundreds of meters before the 3rd Bosphorus bridge. And the so-called "small fishing village" that is then approached for land stays is a commercial tourist place with (besides many stalls, restaurants, etc.) a handful of fishing boats deliberately put on display. To compensate for the latter, we were allowed to watch marines practicing house-to-house combat right next door on the shore...;-) . By the way: The skipper of the smaller+faster excursion boat, who crossed the keel line of our boat twice on the way back and forced us to brake, apparently out of pure macho behavior, would have deserved a thorough cold bath (at least).

Very nice cruise with a brilliant guide who regaled us with anecdotes about the life of the Stambouliotes, the history and the organization of the districts Only downside: the 1 hour break in a cheap micro seaside resort... an anchorage with a possible bath would have wonderful summer rather than this tasteless crowded beach Thank you anyway The crew was very caring, and the meals of good quality

I loved this cruise for multiple reasons: - The boat was not packed, I’d say there was between 30-40 people here for the cruise. Lots of room for you to find your space on the boat. - Going on this tour during the day allowed for a full view of Istanbul and the different areas around the water. - Got off for a break at a great time, there was a masjid nearby so we were able to pray - Staff was very friendly and accommodating I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Istanbul.
