This is a fully guided tour inside the Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya), Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Orient Express train station, Galata Bridge and Spice Bazaar. Along the way, stop to hear the stories of the Roman Hippodrome (including the Egyptian Obelisk and Serpent Column German Fountain), mausoleums of Ottoman sultans and Constantine’s Column. Learn about the famous Orient Express. Take a break for lunch and enjoy traditional Turkish cuisine in a friendly setting at a nontouristy restaurant where your gourmet guide will choose some memorable food for you. Please note the itinerary will change slightly on certain days due to changes in the opening hours.

Know before you go

Please note that the Hagia Sofia will close on Mondays. It will be substituted with Topkapı Palace for those who join the tour on Monday
Topkapı Palace ticket will be included with the tour price but the harem section ( 35 TL extra)will not
Please bring the ID of your kids who are age 12 or below
Please be ready at the meeting point at tour starting time
This tour involves entering mosques. Ladies and gentlemen will be required to dress appropriately by covering their shoulders and ensure coverage past their knees. Ladies will need to cover their heads. Scarfs will be available at the mosque, but feel free to bring your own scarf to use. In addition, for your convenience it will be best to wear shoes that are easy to remove

It was worth every penny. We had Salih as our guide. He’s an easy-going interesting guy that gave us a lot of detail about every place we went. If you wanted to see something or buy something he made sure you got what you wanted. I would highly recommend the tour if you are short on time to cover the hot spots and with this guide. Well done!
