Full description

The Bosphorus is one of Istanbul's most iconic and beautiful parts. Tonight, you'll set sail on this important body of water (it divides Europe from Asia), and enjoy a night upon the Bosphorus with a tasty dinner, and romantic view to set the mood. You'll begin your journey aboard our private boat at the Kabatas Pier. Here, your guide will help you understand what is to come, and point out the most iconic and beautiful parts of Istanbul as you sail gently down the bustling river. You'll pass mansions, palaces, and of course, towering mosques who pierce the setting sun, and make for some fantastic photo opportunities. Your dinner is served onboard, as you enjoy your view and the gentle movement of the boat. It's perfect for a sail anytime of the year, and is especially beautiful in May when the Judas trees are in blossom. Come on board and discover Istanbul from a whole new perspective.

quite nice but a little bit of mass tourism

The shipping on the Bosphorus was nice. We were picked up from the hotel on time. Like many such events, it was of course a certain mass processing. In the beginning you spent a very long time waiting for food. Unfortunately we were sitting in the middle of the air conditioning and had to endure icy temperatures. We were unlucky with the space. Our waiter at the table was very attentive despite the hustle and bustle and even knew what we wanted to drink when ordering repeat orders. The food on the ship had no star character - but it was above average for an event of this kind. After the meal there was the show planned in the program. Although this was a very nicely done tourist entertainment - those who expected a really good cultural performance at the belly dance were disappointed. The view from the ship while sailing - past the illuminated Istanbul was terrific.

The evening was overpriced, the guide and the food were very averade

The estimated 4 hours includes at least an hour of waiting until the boat is finally full. The actual ride, including the food and the show, lasts a mere two and a half hours. The guide talks about the sights for at least 15 minutes in bad English and spends too much time on irrelevant details while he's doing it. The food was very average, the seating arrangement was poor. During the show the belly dancer really stood out in a god way, but all of the rest was unnecessary. We didn't feel any of the romance they had promised for this evening!
