COVID-19 Update

Due to health and safety regulations, this itinerary may change. See Know before you go for the latest updates.

Ride the gondola, smell the roses at the International Rose Test Garden, and step out onto a skybridge on this 3-hour guided tour of Portland in a small group of no more than 11. Throughout the tour, you'll enjoy beautiful vistas as you drive the hills and bridges in a comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle. Your interpretive guide will give you background on the landmarks you pass and teach you the city's history as you wander the neighborhoods of central Portland. Start your tour by traveling up the hill to the Oregon Health Sciences University, where your guide will drop you off to walk out onto the longest suspended pedestrian skybridge in North America. Afterwards, ride the Portland Aerial Tram down to the South Waterfront neighborhood, where your guide will be waiting. This does not run on Sundays. Make a stop at the International Rose Test Garden, where you'll have 20 minutes to walk among the 550 rose varieties. Then, you'll ascend even higher into the hills to visit Pittock Mansion, which provides the best view of Portland and 5 stratovolcanoes, if the weather is clear. As you navigate the city, you'll be able to take in views of the parks, gardens, bridges, and trees of this lush city.

The guide was exceptional. He knew anything we asked. Marcus came prepared with a great tour and when we asked about a specific topic, he quickly changed his plan to accomodate us. He had great stories, too. His Mercedes van was clean and looked new. He also was covid prepared and even had water and snacks.

We had a great time. Our guide Terran was very knowledgeable tour guide and an excellent driver. He also went above and beyond picking me and my husband from Oregon city. In three hours we could see more than we would be able to see in a week if we were doing it on our own. I highly recommend this tour to the visitors of all ages.

Marcus was great. Very knowledgeable and a pleasant speaking voice. He was open to questions and gave great tips on restaurants.
