Throughout the drive, admire stunning views of the surrounding landscapes as well as a glimpse of local villages along the valley. Arrive at Imlil and meet your trekking crew for the trip, then enjoy a refreshing mint tea to set you up for a day of exploring. With your guides, head out towards Azzaden Valley via the Tizi Mzik pass where you can marvel at panoramic views over the valley as well as several neighboring Atlas peaks. Lunch is served at the top of the pass, so you can admire the views while you eat, then continue down the valley through the Juniper Forest to arrive at Tizi Oussem village. Spend the night at this traditional Berber site, meet the locals and learn about their culture and way of life. Enjoy a delicious and authentic tagine dinner surrounded by the peaceful tranquility of the mountains. After breakfast on day 2, soak up the sunshine that lights up this colorful valley before heading out towards Id Issa village. Spend some time exploring then trek to Tizi Oudid mountain pass walking through Matat village along the way. Arrive at a walnut grove and enjoy a relaxing lunch next to the river. Had a great experience with this 2 day atlas mountain trek! Our guide Abdul was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and we so appreciated having him with us for our trek. The transportation to and from Marrakech was seamless and before we went out Abdul thoroughly reviewed our route and details of the trek. The trek itself was very scenic and provided gorgeous views of Imlil valley as well as travel through several Berber villages. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the food throughout the hike cooked by Syed was delicious! A great experience and a highlight of our time in Morocco.

Mustapha has been an amazing tour guide. He knows the area incredibly well, seemingly knowing and being friendly with every local we went past. Which allowed us to meet so many friendly faces along the way. I went with another friend both 24 years old, he was always cautious to make sure we were going at a pace which was comfortable for us all. We stopped and rested along the way with Abraham making us some incredible food, local and fresh! No shortage of mint teas to keep us hydrated and happy! Mustapha was always happy to answer any questions we asked giving us a lot of valuable insight into the local area. We sang together up on the mountains and through the valleys, with jokes all the way through. I'm vegetarian and had no shortage of food to keep us energised and full. Musafa found a great spot for us to swim at the end, which was much needed after 2 days of hiking in the sun. Abaham joined us and made some incredible food! definitely go on this trip and ask for them both!

Zin is the best guide EVER! He was welcoming , hospitable and friendly with a huge smile from The beginning to the end. We walked for 2 days and went at my pace and he supported me throughout with patience as I was not used to walking in the heat ! We had plenty of breaks and he provided lunch on both days .. very talented ! We stayed the night at a Berber village where a delicious tangine was provided by the cook halid and entertainment fro both of them singing berbers songs and drumming their hands on the table ! ZIn is a popular person as everyone was chatting to him as we went though the Berber villages ! He was informative with the Berber history and their community and the people were so friendly . He was genuinely interested in my own culture politics and Scottish sayings!
