Amazing experience, saw the Atlas Mountains, complimentary camel ride, was a full day rather than a half day so would be mindful of that. We paid separately for the Atlas Mountains tour which was wonderful, went up to the mountains, was shown how they make argan oil, had a camel ride. We did all of this again with the cooking class, but instead of going for a hike we went to a tiny mountain side village where a very kind man welcomed us into his beautiful home, with a huge terrace that you could see for miles from, absolutely stunning. He showed us how to make the traditional meal of tomato and cucumber salad with orange, and the delicious chicken tagine. We had this meal several times in Marrakesh so was fantastic to come home and cook it for our family! Also showed us how to make the mint tea, took pictures and videos of us cooking, was so wonderful, and chatted with us whilst we ate but also left us to enjoy. Amazing experience, incredibly beautiful day, and the most gracious host!

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! We had an incredible day with Ibrahim, the best day of our entire trip to Marrakech! Ibrahim was a great guide who provided us with a wealth of information about local customs and culture of the Berber people. We were honoured to be so welcomed by the local people in Ibrahim’s village, where we had mint tea and snacks on the veranda of their house with incredible views of the Atlas Mountains. We hiked through local villages, through the mountains and to a waterfall. Ibrahim also took us to a very authentic and local market in the mountains which was such an amazing experience and one that we would never have done on our own. We also had lunch in a local family’s house which, without exaggeration, was the best food we had the whole time we were in Marrakech. We couldn’t get over the hospitality and kindness shown to us by the local people. We had a truly authentic experience which will stay with us forever. Thank you so much, Ibrahim.

This was much more than just a cooking class. The day started with a pickup by guide Abdul and driver Ibrahim. First stop was a beautiful viewpoint, then a light extra breakfast at an Argan oil demonstration. Was my second but still fun, the ladies were beautifully dressed. In Imbil valley we were picked up by Rachid and after a short walk we end up in the family testaurant. Super nice chatty guy who, assisted by a niece of his, helped me prepare a tasty chicken tagine. Very nice experience! On his terrace with a view of snow-capped peaks, pleasantly cool under a large umbrella, waited very relaxed until everything was ready and then sat down to feast. During the walk back, Rachid told a lot about life in the countryside. Educational and entertaining. Thank you Rachid! On the way back we were surprised with a camel ride that was not on the program. Surprise, surprise! Thank you for everything Abdul and Ibrahim. It was a great day!

Me and cooking class? - that's how it started... But what happened that day was really great. After a drive from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains, our tour guide Rashid took us to his Berber village. He introduced us to his relatives and took us through the village. Always "stairs" up or down, because flat areas in this village on the mountain were scarce. We prepared a typical Moroccan meal ourselves and enjoyed the great view. Everyone was very friendly and Rashid's English was very good. This "cooking course in the Atlas Mountains" is highly recommended - even for someone who doesn't know much about cooking...

Shukran. It was a unique experience. The driver and guide Kamal is very punctual and with a lot of interesting information, he is a great professional. Stop at the Argán cooperative. Abdul was my guide in the cooking course. An unforgettable experience. He showed me around his town and I was warmly welcomed into his family's home. We cooked together a Moroccan salad, a lemon chicken tagine and Moroccan tea. Everything very well explained and enjoying a lot. A beautiful person and all her family. Highly recommended and unforgettable. Thank you Abdul and family. I hope to see you soon. Inshallah
