Picked-up from the resort, dropped-off at the resort by taxi. Our tour guide Sarwat was waiting for us in Cairo, 12 people in a big air conditioned van. Sarwat is very knowledgeable and funny too. We were surprised with some absolutely delicious falafels from breakfast, the best I’ve ever had. Bottles of water included too. We stopped at an oil/perfum shop, but as I suffer from migraine I stayed in the van with the driver. We paid €10 extra for a boat ride which was nice. Egyptian Museum amazing, Pyramids amazing and plenty of time, to go to the place to take pictures with all the 9 pyramids in view we went on camels, a great choice, they are just very tall! You could choose to go by horse and carriage, that was 250EP per person, but totally worth it. The camel guy takes lots of amazing pictures for you in funny poses, he will probably call you Shakira or Rambo! We could have gone to a papyrus shop, but we were all tired and preferred to go to the airport. Super recommend this trip!

This was my second time on this trip with GetYourGuide to Cairo. The trip started with the pickup from the hotel at 4:30am and the flight to Cairo at. 6:00am. Once arrived in Cairo we were picked up by our guide Mariam. She presented very nice the history and locations along the way. We stopped at the Cairo Bazaar, then the Egyptian Museum (the old one since the new one is not yet open) we had a nice boat ride (optional), lunch then went to the Giza Piramids where there were optional visits inside the Piramid and a camel ride (optional for an extra cost. Then we moved to the Sphinx where we had 30 minutes to visit and take photos. There were some extra stops at a papyrus store, cotton store and the last stop before the airport at a shopping mall. This time the flight was scheduled quite late at 23:00 and we spent a few hours at the airport. We landed back in Hurghada at midnight in time for the transfer back to the hotel.

The tour guide was amazing. Really informative, friendly and welcoming. Also, the groups where small - one thing I would add (it’s not a problem, but could be a little better) on arrival in Cairo to was clear where to meet our tour guide, but found him just outside the main entrance of the airport. I would 100% recommend this tour to everyone. Thank you.

What an amazing experiance! The driver and guides did a fantastic job. The hotel and food provided were very good. Only downside, is it was ALOT of time driving. But it was worth it to cover both Luxor and Abu Simbel in two days.

The tour was well organised, our guide in Cairo. Hanan, was very knowledgeable and provided an appropriate level of information while still allowing free time.
