What people are saying about Hurghada
Amazing day out to Cairo. Although it was a long day out that started from 1:30 till 22:30 for us, it was a well organised trip and we were able to do everything. We didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to wander on our own and take photos. The English tour guide was very knowledgeable and guided us well. I found the buffet lunch to be very tasty. There was some extra add ons that you can take part for €12.50 like the boat trip on the river Nile which was nice. There was extra payment for the pyramids to ride a camel to a more open area in the dessert for a better view of the pyramids and to enter one of the tombs but we opted out for that so cannot comment of that experience. It was also a small group (less than 10) which I liked. There was also stops at some local business such as the papyrus and perfumery shop. You are not pressured to buy anything which I thought was nice but we did buy something from each shop as we were able to make a good bargain.
the trip was well organized and we were picked up on time. In Luxor we were received by a local tour guide who spoke German very well. he guided us through egyptian history during 5 stops. the huge temples and the valley of the kings are must-sees. a big thank you to our companion Shaban. the entrance tickets refer to the inspection of the temple. these must be purchased. if it doesn't work directly via getyourguid, buy the tour and entry tickets separately. worked for me too. The only extra charge during the tour is 10 euros for a boat trip on the Nile. this is optional because some customers don't feel comfortable on the water, but you should have experienced it. We were very satisfied and would recommend the trip to others.
They picked us up very early in the morning. It took about 6 hours. The guide bought our tickets and we paid for the boat tour. It was very successful for its price.
Fabulous trip, well worth the early start and travel time. Smiley was our guide and he was fantastic, very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Enjoyed the trip. Our guide, Nana, was very knowledgeable, helpful and funny.
