The ride on the Hungerburgbahn went smoothly. Unfortunately it is very hot in the cabins in midsummer, there is no air conditioning. The zoo is really beautifully designed and you can see animals that you can't see so well in any other zoo. We observed a black woodpecker at work. The playground at the entrance and exit is also very nice and well-kept.

This was a beautiful zoo and the views from the hunger berg were delightful. You need to be able to walk up some fairly steep inclines at the zoo as it seems to keep going up forever, but it has to come back down again!

The Alpenzoo is a great experience for young and old. What we missed was the overview plan - it must have been there at the entrance and we hadn't seen it... we were afraid of not finding the bear

Happy to be able to take the funicular and see this splendid park

It is a must if you go to Innsbruck, a unique zoo of its kind.
