From Hue: Tour Discovering Paradise Cave

Start your experience with hotel pickup in Hue, where your driver will load your backpack on to the motorbike. Set off on a day of sightseeing as you drive along the beautiful coastal road to your destination. Admire rice fields and tranquil villages along the road, and take a break at Lap An Lagoon to snap photos of the beautiful lake. Continue to Lang Co Beach, where you can swim and enjoy a seafood lunch at your own expense. Pass bunkers from the Vietnam War as you cross the famous Hai Van Pass, and enjoy panoramic views over the ocean. Make a stop in the Marble Mountains to explore colorful Buddhist temples and amazing caves before being dropped off in Da Nang or Hoi An.
Your private tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Hue. You will then set off to Phong Nha. On the way, you will make a rest stop at the famous Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, where the border between South & North Vietnam was located during the war. Next, you will stop by a local restaurant where you will tuck into authentic Vietnamese dishes. After lunch, sail along a river by boat to reach the iconic Phong Nha Cave. This cave is truly a marvel of nature and is hidden away in the dense jungle of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park in Central Vietnam. Admire the dramatic rock cliffs and wealth of flora and fauna in the area. After visiting the cave, you will start the return journey back to your hotel in Hue, where you will arrive at around 7.30 PM.
Be picked-up from your hotel in Hue City Center and transfered to Quang Binh province by bus. On the way, stop to take photos and visit La Vang Holyland. Around 11:30 AM, arrive at Quang Binh Province. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, begin the excursion to discover Paradise Cave, a cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, UNESCO's World Heritage Site. Its length is 31 kilometers. The widest spot is about 150 meters. Its beauty is praised by tourists in Vietnam. Along the way, see wonderful stalagmites and shimmering stalactites. The cave is simply spectacular. After, head back to Hue city on the Ho Chi Minh trail, via Truong Son martyrs cemetery. Drop off at routed hotel in Hue City Center. End of tour.

After a break at La Vang to see the Basilica of Our Lady of La Vang, continue through the demilitarized zone of Quang Tri, near the Ben Hai River between the historic North and South Vietnam. Begin your full day tour with a 6:45 AM pick up from your hotel in Hue and depart for the 2.5 hour journey to the Phong Nha Caves. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, before boarding a boat to cruise along the river to reach Phong Nha Cave. The deeper the vessel navigates into the caves, the more magical your surroundings will become and you can marvel at the phenomenal natural aspects in your sight. Marvel at the formations that have been created over millions of years. After journeying by boat for another 700 m, a large dry passage appears and you can disembark the boat onto dry ground to explore the cave on foot for another 500 m. Seize the chance to discover the remains of the Cham altars and inscriptions inside the exciting cave, before returning to Hue in the late afternoon and arriving back at your hotel around 6.00 PM.

The time indicated is estimated to arrive at the park from Huè is incorrect, in fact it does not take 2h and 30m but abundant 4h this is a figure not to be underestimated since in any case it is to be evaluated 8/9 hours by bus for activities that lasts from 3/4 hours. Yes ok the cave and the boat ride are very nice but overall "maybe" as proposed by Huè is not worth it. Surely if one has no alternative this is the best offer on the site. Surely it is better to sleep 2/3 nights near the park so as to have more options to visit the whole site since it is very large.
