We visit first this great adobe and clay pyramid that was built between 200 and 700 AD, representing a ceremonial and administrative center for the “Lima Culture”. San Isidro – The Olive Park After, we go to this must-see site which has a relaxing environment. It is located in San Isidro, the main feature of which are the ancient preserved olive trees, that date several hundred years. There are also exhibits of old machinery used in the production of olive oil, plenty of greenery, colorful flowers and shrubs and an ornamental pond stocked with fish and terrapins. The tour starts at Miraflores at 11am, go through the modern part of the city until the historic center of Lima, then we will go through important emblematic places such as the Archaeological Center of Huaca Pucllana, the oldest evidence of Miraflores built 1500 years ago, then we will appreciate beautiful Republican residences of European and American influence that are preserved in Miraflores, the bus will continue to San Isidro (the financial capital ) modern and exclusive district of the city, we will continue to Parque de la Reserva, a historic place where Peruvian reservists gathered to defend our city during the Pacific War conflict. Once there we pass by the main square as long of the vice royal and the republican buildings. This bright-yellow Franciscan monastery and church is most famous for its bone-lined catacombs (containing an estimated 70,000 remains) and its remarkable library housing 25,000 antique texts, some of which pre-date the conquest. Tour will finish back in Miraflores around 2pm.

This ecological adventure begins in our meeting point located in the district of Miraflores, and after a short security briefing, we will start taking the bike path to explore the districts of Lima. Along the route, we will make a panoramic tour to the pre Inca ruins of Huaca Pucllana situated in the middle of the city. This place belonged to the ancient culture of Lima dated from the fifth century and you will admire the big pyramid in the center made with adobe. Then, we are going to reach the waterfront promenade to appreciate the beautiful coast, known as Costa Verde. We will arrive to the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco having the best ocean views. This place stands out for its cultural and bohemian nightlife, as well as a high-value Republican architecture and streets full of charm and street art. The Barranco bike tour will take you to the famous Bridge of Sighs, a beautiful bridge of wood dated from the 19th century and it was built with the purpose to link the district’s gorge, but it had to be rebuilt after the Pacific War. Located under this bridge is the “lowered of the baths”, a stone road that was used by fishermen to get the beach. Barranco has a special charming and many coffee shops with a spectacular food. We are going to have a well-deserved rest enjoying a refreshment, before starting the return to the meeting point located in Miraflores.
