Step into the story and witness the scenic landscapes and ruins from the TV show "Outlander" on this day trip from Edinburgh. Travel in a spacious and climate-controlled coach and see slights light like the village of Cranesmuir and the Tuilyies Standing Stones. Depart Edinburgh and journey northwest to Midhope Castle (April 1 to September 24), site of Lallybroch Castle in the time travel TV series "Outlander." Stop in the Royal Burgh of Linlithgow and enjoy a photo stop at Linlithgow Palace (Wentworth Prison in "Outlander"). Continue to the 14th-century country pile of Callandar House, where ties to Rome's northern frontier in Europe at the Antonine Wall have been traced. Follow the footsteps of Claire and Jamie to Falkland, Outlander's Inverness.  See streets that were used as filming locations in Outlander, including where Claire sees Jamie's ghost. Move on to the Royal Burgh of Culross to discover a tiny 17th-centuryvillage nestled on the coast of Fife.  Pass by the gardens at Culross that were featured in "Outlander" as Claire's herb garden, as was the mercat cross (market cross) from Cranesmuir Village. Saunter along the cobblestone streets and see the quaint Biscuit Café. Stopping for photos at Tuilyies Standing Stones (time permitting). End the day at South Queensferry for beautiful views over the Forth and photos of the Forth Rail Bridges.

Everything went well. Communication with the provider went very well. I felt like I was back in time for 1 day, Jamie and Claire up close. With the 8 other people in the group it was very pleasant. Because of the same interests, it was easy to start a conversation. Our tour guide Michael shortened the travel time for us with historical and funny stories. On site, he always gave us time to walk through the city on our own, which I thought was great. I had considered canceling a few days earlier because I had a foot injury and was afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up with the pace, but my fears were unfounded. I was completely satisfied with the tour and can only recommend it. I'll be happy to come back to that next time. Many thanks to Timberbush Tour and our Scottish guide Michael, who made this day unforgettable.

We booked the Outlander tour from Edinburgh. It was a really great tour, our driver and guide, Michael super, told us a lot, was funny and very entertaining.....highly recommended. My wife hasn't seen a minute of the Outlander series (the "fans" were my daughter and I ^^ ), but she was also enthusiastic about the places we visited and the information from not even Outlander Fans get their money's worth because you can simply see and learn a lot about the area...

Very interesting tour, even my boyfriend who is not an Outlander fan liked it. Our guide Jim told us a lot of trivia and took us to Midhope Castle even though there was some work in progress for filming. Unfortunately we didn't go to the standing stones, but it was still an experience that I would do again.

It was a nice tour, the bus driver was very nice and accommodating. It doesn't matter if you don't understand English well. A dream come true for every Outlander fan. Thank you for this great experience.

We had seven stops and saw a lot of sets from the Outlander movies.
