Had so much fun with these guys. They were friendly and very funny, but safety was definitely priority number one for them. They cracked a few jokes (ok, a lot of jokes) on the way to our dive site, which was only a short 15 or 20 minute boat ride away. They broke us up into groups, gave us a quick orientation, and off we went. As we pulled up to the site, the boat was immediately greeted by at least half a dozen Galapagos and sand tiger sharks. At first it was kind of scary having our boat surrounded by so many 10ft sharks, but it seems that they were just as curious about us as we were about them. They never approached the cage aggressively, rather swim around to check us out. Then one of our guides dangled an aluminum bottle tethered by rope into the water and also dropped in an orange peel, and a couple of the sharks wrestled to play with it. So funny to watch! They were like big ocean puppies! This is probably the safest way to view sharks in their natural habitat. I loved it!

It was absolutely wonderful for my first time dive. There were two stops. The first stop, the instructor tested us one by one on the three key scuba skills. Then we went to the second stop where we all got off and began our first real dive. The sea turtles were so beautiful. For anyone nervous about their first dive, trust me you will be okay. I did want to panic a little when I first got in the water, and it may feel like you’re getting a lot of directions and “remember this” at once, but as long as you breathe through your mouth, you will be fine! I do wish we could have spent a little more time underwater. The original end time was 2:30, but we were off the boat by 1:10. Also, they do accept card/PayPal/Venmo for tips on the boat. Finally, uncertified divers cannot bring a camera into the water. It a PADI rule/regulation. Not even GoPros in harnesses

This is hands down the best excursion that I took during my vacation to Oahu. The captain and crew were amazing and did a great job explaining to us about the sharks and gave great direction on how to get in and out of the cage. Getting into the cage and seeing the sharks was amazing. Its almost impossible to explain how surreal it is to see a shark up that close. Once I showed the rest of my travel party the video from the Go-Pro, they were all upset that they didn't take part in it. Once again, the best out of about 7 different excursion I did!! Also, the waves heading out of the bay were amazing. That was just a bonus on the trip! I loved the up and down roller coaster .

Brand new to the scuba diving world this was an awesome choice for a first experience! Don’t let the price scare you. It’s worth every penny. My instructor was awesome and very knowledgeable! The boat captain was very personable and they all really made us feel at home. I was worried before we went about how much time we’d actually get in the water being discovery divers, but we got a lot! The gear was very nice as well. Can’t wait to go back to work on my certification!

So cool! We loved it. The address given took us to the beach pavilion-which was two streets too few. There is a shower there though, so in hindsight I would have parked there and walked to the harbor kiosk so I didn’t get my car seats wet on the return.
