Meteora is an amazing place. The natural beauty is stunning. We visited 2 monastaries and got a bit of insight into the history of their founding and the faith of the residents. The logistics of the trip went smoothely and everything was on time. The guide was not a registered tour guide, as far as I know, but she gave good and clear explanations, pointing out places and facts on the bus. The visit to the monastaries was on our own. The lunch break was rather long, and no provisions were made for anyone who did not wish to eat at the restaurant where we stopped. We ate the lunch that we brought with us on the wall outdside in the company of cats and had to cross the road to order a cup of coffee. I don't know if there is any alternative.

The tour was well organised. The guide was explaining all the relevant details at the right time. Had an excellent stop to experience authentic greek food as well... Highly recommended... Meteora is a place, which needs to be visited with proper equipments to capture the beauty of the place :)
