Hi, I'm Alex, a real Munich local with a love for beer and Bavarian culture. During our exciting all beers and a Bavarian dinner is included. Join me on this varied culinary journey through the history of Munich's beer tradition. From the beginnings to the present. You can expect exciting and curious stories and the best insights. Look forward to a professional beer tasting in a special ambience, a delicious Bavarian dinner and more beer. On our tour through Munich's beautiful old town, you will also get to know the most famous pubs and historic places of a special beer culture. Prost! We start in Munich's city centre (Marienplatz). The tour lasts about 3,5 hours and will end in a very good local Bavarian restaurant. This restaurant is not as famous as other places like the Hofbräuhaus. That’s why I chose it. I want you to experience Munich like a local. I will show you some other local places during the tour. But don’t be afraid, we will also pass the Hofbräuhaus. At least for one beer and the special history behind the famous beer temple. All fresh beers and the Bavarian dinner is included. Non-alcoholic beverages and vegetarian/vegan options are always available. After the official end of the tour, you're allowed to stay as long as you want. It’s really a nice central restaurant. Last question: Why choose me? I’m a young (32) professional tour guide, born and raised in Munich, with a deep historical knowledge. Bonus: I also work for a Munich brewery. So there is also deep knowledge about beer. And finally: I would love to give you more recommendations for your personal Munich trip. You deserve a great time in Bavarias capital and I want to represent my hometown as good as possible. I think you are in good hands :) See you for some cold beers, Alex

Learn how people managed to brew in the Middle Ages, and why the Bavarian Dukes passed a purity law. Move upstairs and visit the museum, an incredible collection of items, including the model of Carl von Linde's machine that modernized beer cooling, and a picture of the first Oktoberfest in 1810.
