Absolutely brilliant day. Our driver Luke was knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was always smiling. The guides on the boat were also very knowledgeable telling about the history of the place plus plenty of stops to take photos and just take in the beauty of the area. Saw albatross, dolphins, seals and rock climbers. Lunch and morning tea at the Lavender Farm were also included and the scones with lavender butter and jam were delicious. The Unzoo was small but the two hours there went very quick and well worth the visit especially the Tassie Devil feeding experience. The whole day was full, fun and info packed. Loved every minute.
A great way to see all the sights on Bruny Island without having to drive yourself. This tour includes the lighthouse which is very interesting. The highlight is all the excellent food, including fresh oysters, cheese and bread for morning tea, a great lunch and chocolate and honey for desert. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and we leant so much about the history of Australia as well as Tasmania and Bruny Island. Well worth while.
From the moment we left Hobart with our Awesome informative Driver Jamie & boarded The Boat on Bruny where James was @ the helm Jen & I enjoyed every last minute of the Tour & will be returning in November to do the Seafood Fishing & eating trip it’s great to know that Rob Pennicott puts 30 per cent of the profits back into Community Groups
We had a terrific day. Well organised, even the weather was great. We were welcomed at each stop we made, and were given excellent service. Our guide was welcoming, helpfully, knowledgeable and fun. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Great site seeing trip around Hobart, however shame the buses were an hour apart This made for long waiting times if missed one bus when hop on hop off. And the last bus finished completed route by 4.30 PM
