Full description
Explore Bruny Island’s spectacular landscapes, gourmet produce, and inspiring locals on a small group tour of around 20 passengers, plus your knowledgeable local guide. Tours depart daily from Hobart and local accommodation. Relax and enjoy this fully inclusive experience showcasing the best of Bruny Island. Try cheeses, oysters, fudge, premium wines, honey and whisky. Meet some of the island’s artisan producers, people who put their energy and spirit into handcrafting these renowned products. Stop for a delicious lunch at Pennicott’s beachside restaurant with sweeping views of Adventure Bay.  Throughout the day you'll see incredible scenery. At The Neck, see the narrow isthmus stretch away south in graceful curves. Take a stroll and leave your footprints in the sand of a deserted beach. The light bush of the northern island gives way to the dense rainforest of the south's Mavista Rainforest - a pristine environment home to diverse wildlife including rare white wallabies. Your return ferry crossing departs at 16:30 for a 17:00 arrival in Kettering, followed by a short 30-minute drive back to Hobart, where hotel drop offs are available on request.

Full day of activities, Sam our driver was fabulous , because of the odd showers he just changed our itinerary around slightly to take advantage of when it was fine. The cheeses we sampled were yummy , the fresh oysters before lunch were so fresh & some of the best we’ve ever had. Lovely lunch over looking the water and an excellent selection of wines ,beers provided. Then onto sample, whiskey & fudge and the opportunity walk about a beautiful garden which backs onto the Sea more fantastic views. Lastly some honey tasting and sampling, we would totally recommend this tour, a wonderful day on Bruny island.

Enjoyed this tour very much. Tim was a great tour guide who was informative, funny and genuine. He paced the trip really well and was fun to interact with. We had the bonus of a great small group who entered into the whole spirit of the trip. Loved the scenery and all the places we stopped, especially the 227 step walk and delicious lunch. Very good value for money and just a great day on Bruny in all respects. Also pick up was punctual and company easy to communicate with. Highly recommend. Ps. Tim was very aware of ensuring everyones individual needs were taken into account and that we all had a great time.

The tour guide and service was fantastic! The information was relevant and well presented, the day was full but not rushed. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. We weren't huge fans of the whisky stop, and would have preferred wine. But we didn't love it any less because of that.
