We booked the private tour. They picked us up at our hotel in a roomy, comfortable fan. The guide was outstanding, providing us with a great deal of information about Chiang Mai and Thailand in general. The Hmong village is interesting, and our guide really brought it to life. The village gardens are amazing. It’s mostly a fantastic shopping experience. We came back down a little ways on the mountain to finish the tour at the Temple, and, again, our guide really brought it to life. It is truly glorious. The driver also did a first rate job keeping us comfortable as he navigated the windy mountain road. Definitely recommend this tour.

We had a great day with our guide M and his driver. After an hour's drive we arrived at the Karen village where we drank a locally produced coffee and then we took a 2 hour walk to see a beautiful waterfall. A very good and plentiful lunch then 10 minutes away then we left at the top 13 degrees and we did 2 short hikes. Descent of the mountain with a stop at the 2 pagodas of the king and the queen with very beautiful gardens and another stop at a market of local products then return to chiang mai, it was very good.

It was a very interesting trip and Paul was incredibly knowledgeable . We learned a lot through him and we was very flexible, when we enlarged our private tour with the evening chanting of the monks. Thank you also showing the way to start medidating… a great experience. The Hmong village did not really meet our expectations … but what were our expectations ? Difficult to say but honestly not much to see or do there. But we enjoyed the half day and Paul did his outmost to make it a nice day. Thank you!

The guide was very good. Full of information and very attentive. The meal was excellent. A varied and full day. Very good family day

Just the right amount of activity in between driving and eating...
