Meet your guide at Main square of McLeod ganj market (meeting Point) and will take you location where the hike will start as per scheduled pick up time. Walk through the mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees. The trail is well marked all the way up to Triund. From McLeod Ganj it is 3/4 hours steep ascent to Triund. Small tea shops on the way can provide good refreshments. Triund is an alpine meadow situates atop a flat ridge with fine views of peaks of Dhauladhars on one side an Kangra valley on the other side. After light lunch at Triund start descending to McLeod Ganj. Take the same route on the way back or follow the grassy ridge which will lead to Bhagsu Nag Temple, after crossing a small waterfall on the way.
